About Bhartiya Vitta Salahkar Samiti – भारतीय वित्त सलाहकार समिति – BVSS

Bhartiya Vitta Salahkar Samiti (भारतीय वित्त सलाहकार समिति), commonly known as BVSS, was registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860, on 5th May 1999 with 13 members on board. Since then its membership has grown to over a thousand professionals consisting of Independent Directors of Public Sector undertakings / banks, Chartered Accountants, Economists, Company Secretaries, Cost Accountants, Capital Market Experts, Bankers, Lawyers working in financial domain, and other financial consultants.

BVSS follows the principles of Cultural Nationalism, Integral Humanism, and Enriched Professionalism in all its activities and efforts while contributing towards Nation building. It has made representations on important policy matters to Governments, and other Regulatory authorities, and has been able to influence them by providing a 360 degree view of Indian scenario. It has also represented professional community in judicial and quasi-judicial forums, and helped improve the existing legal frameworks.

In the past, BVSS representatives have been appointed on various expert committees formed by Government, The Institute of Chartered Accountants, The Institute of Company Secretaries, Department of Company Affairs, Customs and Excise Department, etc.
