Introduction

Bhartiya Vitta Salahkar Samiti (भारतीय वित्त सलाहकार समिति), is a leading think tank of Indian finance professionals ( having membership from CA, CS, CMA, Tax Advocates, Bankers, Educationists, Finance consultants, Brokers, CxO’s & Board of Directors of large corporations as its members.  
 
BVSS has been making professional representations on important policy matters to Governments, and other Regulatory authorities from time to time. We have been able to influence them by providing a wholistic view to the decision makers. BVSS has also represented professional community in judicial and quasi-judicial forums, and helped improve the existing legal frameworks. Our representatives have been appointed on various expert committees formed by Government, The Institute of Chartered Accountants, The Institute of Company Secretaries, Department of Company Affairs, Customs and Excise Department, etc.

Formulating Vision for Nation Building

To formulate vision for Nation Building, BVSS has been carrying out Research and Analysis in the important areas like India & Global Economy, Foreign Direct Investment, Economic Model of China, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Tax Laws, Indian Education System, Distribution of Electricity, Public Procurement Bill, Integrity Pact etc.
 
BVSS vision is formed based on extensive discussions with the prominent personalities, intellectuals and experts related to the topic under consideration. Many of BVSS members have hands on experience of managing real life issues in Financial Markets, Corporate Governance in Public Sector Undertakings & Banks, and Multi-National Companies which helps them in suggesting pragmatic and timely solutions to the ongoing challenges for the Nation.

Professional Enrichment

Having diverse and rich membership of Indian Finance Professionals from Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretaries (CS), Cost & Management Accountants (CMA), Tax Advocates, Bankers, Educationists, Finance consultants, Capital Market Experts, Brokers, CxO’s & Board of Directors of large corporations etc., BVSS provides a great learning and networking opportunity to its members. 
 
BVSS organises Professional Events and Online Webinars round the year for professionals to learn and remain updated with the latest trends, regulations and policies. All aspects of the professional needs of the members are covered in the events conducted by BVSS, by formulating separate teams to lead activity for each topic. Over 12 sub-groups have been formed to deal with specific topics like Goods & Services Tax, Financial Reporting & Accounting Standards, Corporate and Economic Laws, Banking, Finance & Capital Markets, International Taxation, Direct Taxes, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Information Technology & Practice, Corporate Governance, & Non Profit organisations / Corporate Social Responsibility in the interest of members. Further, BVSS also boasts of a separate group of intellectuals having worked as Board of Directors of Public Sector Undertakings, Public Sector Banks or other sizeable corporations.  
 
Each sub-group organises its events throughout the year as per the need of the members from time to time. On an average, BVSS has conducted over 30 events per year, in recent years.

Care for the World & Society

BVSS cares for the world we live in. We strongly believe that efficient and sustainable use of Natural and other resources is the only way to keep the Development wheel working. Therefore our effort is to encourage prudent usage of Resources while keeping them safe for our future generations.

We conduct various programs for promoting awareness about sustainability and support the society in natural calamities.
